When your home is Bear Paw Lodges, it's easy to forget that you're only a four-minute stroll from Fernie's Chair Lifts. Why? Because almost everywhere you look from inside, all you see are trees and mountains. That's one of the geniuses of this ultimate mountain getaway.

In mountain real estate, location is everything. The closer you are to the action, the better. And you just can't get much closer than Bear Paw Lodges. The site is perfectly located, close to the lifts and the Village, but so beautifully calm and serene, you'll forget that anyone at all is around you. When you're sitting in the whirlpool on your deck, you can enjoy the quiet solitude provided by the old growth trees surrounding your residence.

Around Bear Paw Lodges, the tamaracks and lodge pole pine forest will be preserved in the natural state. The rushing waters of Boardman Creek that flow off the ski slopes, provide peaceful evening listening.

After a day on the slopes, getting home is even faster. You can ski right down into the Village, a short stroll from your home at Bear Paw Lodges. Want to grab lunch at home? You can, and still have a full day on the mountain.

Feel like grabbing a bite out at the end of the day? There's no need to get in your car; the Village is a short stroll away, with restaurants, nightlife and entertainment for kids of all ages.

At the end of the day, or for a children's break, your family can ski home to Bear Paw Lodges from the Elk Lift Trail.

An evening dining experience or shopping for your vacation gifts, is an enjoyable easy stroll to the village center.

"As both a skier and member of North American Snowsports Journalist
Association (NASJA), I sincerely appreciate the trouble folks went to
on our behalf, and the care they took of us at every level...As an avid
skier for the last forty years, I was especially appreciative of the
great ski mountain you folks have..." Denis B. Hall, Crested Butte,
